About us
The Maldonado family started opening their Parker home to pets as FurEver Furry in January of 2012. Greg, Nissa and Katie started as foster parents for the Colorado Animal Welfare League several years prior and found that they enjoyed having the extra company.

In 2014 Greg resigned from his night shift career and became the full time caregiver for our guests. He now handles all of the bookings, conducts the meet-n-greets.
​
In 2015 Nissa began taking courses to become a certified pet groomer and has been grooming since early 2016. (Note: Due to personal circumstance, Nissa is putting her grooming on hold for 2023). In addition to being the self-designated snuggler, Nissa is the bookkeeper, back up taxi driver and handles any cat care. Since she still holds a full time career outside of the home, her role is limited compared to Greg.

Katie supports her parents as much as she can. Katie is a natural dog whisperer and has had many fans throughout the years (otherwise known as "puparazzi"). Even though Katie is now pursuing her chosen career, she still enjoys hanging out with the dogs. In her down time she enjoys sewing bandanas for clients, creating outfits for her Morkie or working on her pet photography.

Both Greg and Nissa are pet CPR Certified. We are regulated by the State of Colorado and are Insured.
"It's obvious from the get-go that Greg and Nissa love dogs. They took great care of our Australian Shepherd, even letting him sleep in a special bed they put together for him near theirs during a thunderstorm which our dog hates. They have a great yard and a lot of freedom and loving care for the dogs."

"We stayed in a vacation rental house that did not allow dogs, so we were grateful to have our cockapoo stay with Greg and Nissa. They have this down to a science - walks, play time, rest time, etc and we enjoyed getting photos of our dog throughout the week. They were also flexible to let us pick up our pooch during the week so that we could show him off our extended family. Next time we come back through Parker, I will not hesitate to book with them."

"Greg & Nissa did a great job taking care of our dog for almost a week. We did a meet & greet prior to the stay and I would highly recommend it if it is your first time anywhere. Their home is set up perfectly for pet sitting and there is plenty of run around space. We received pictures during her visit and we scheduled a bath at the end of the trip. It was great to be able to pick up our dog clean and soft and tired once she got home! We will definitely stay with Greg & Nissa in the future!"

My gauge for a great dog sitter is that they are not only great at taking care of your dogs but they are equally as great as taking care of you (the owner) while your dogs are in their care. Greg and Nissa go out of their way to make sure both your dogs AND you are as free from any anxiety while they are taking care of them. From pics to texts to accommodating changes in plans, etc., etc.…you name it…Greg and Nissa exceeded every one of my expectations! My dogs were safe, happy, and most importantly loved and made to feel part of the family.
